This trek is difficult if you are not trained or in good shape , through forest . Exceptional here is the opportunity to share with locals on the way , and in the evenings. Most of the benefits will go directly to them.
TREK includes :
SPECIALIZED topographic MAP, from the national geographic institute (copy) in Guatemala

CELL PHONE with 100 minutes local time and 24hrs emergency number
TWO OVERNIGHTS on the way in local indigenous families in their houses (basic) who will be advised before your arrival. Family one on the end of day 1 will make dinner & breakfast / family two will give you dinner & will take you to a local ‘Comedor’ for breakfast.
Your excess luggage will be brought to PANAJACHEL and be there on day 3 at noon. For 50 quetzals extra p.p.(about 7 USD), we will bring your luggage to San Juan La Laguna or San Pedro La Laguna
Transport from Quetzaltenango (door to door) to XECAM, to the start of the TREK
Detailed personal information one to one with professional guide the night before starting (in your hotel or at our office)
Purification pills for water (abundantly available on the road)
First aid kit (please give back on return)

Important :on arrival in San Pedro La Laguna, exactly in NICKS PLACE, at 11 am one of our employees will be there with your luggage. Please give him/her the cell phone, first aid kit and eventually equipment you rented from us.
Procedure :
1) Based on your interest, we need you to fill in a information sheet with your personal information such as address, phone, email , age , language skills & experience in hiking and the use of GPS and send back to info@caminandoguatemala.com or info@adrenalinatours.com
2) After initial agreement and full understanding , you have to prepay 50 % of the total per person or group before we are sending more information through EMAIL in a PDF document . The information we are sending will be completed during the briefing the night before your departure with the last 50 % payment . The first 50 % is not refundable , but is transferable and you can change any time the departure date but we need to be advised five days before.
3) A no show with confirmed departure is no refund.
