This volcano is among the 37 volcanic peaks or summits of Guatemala, its ascent can be done from different points, one route is best known which leaves from the Hot Springs Fuentes Georginas (we offer 3 different routes exist to ascend to the summit this colossus). The approximate time of climb is approximately 5 hours. The walk down is about 4 hours. From its summit there are several volcanoes that are part of the ring of fire in our country. We recommend starting your climb early in the morning, (03:00 am) through the walk you can see different types of forest (pine, pinabete, cypress and eucalyptus trees), the degree of difficulty: difficult, the descent from this volcano you can enjoy a relaxing and deserved bath in the Hot Springs.
